10 indicted in Fulton County human trafficking case, Georgia AG says
Ten people were indicted in a Fulton County human trafficking case, Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr announced Thursday. The attorney general said his office’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit brought the indictments out of Operation Not Forgotten 2020, an annual multi-agency effort to recover endangered and missing children.

Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr has announced that his office rescued a teenager from a group of four alleged human traffickers. Carr said his office’s Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. From that tip, investigators were able to identify, locate and rescue a 14-year-old victim.

Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr announced Friday that two people convicted in a human trafficking case brought by a specialized unit within his office will go to prison for 20 and 30 years. The case was the first brought by the Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit, which was formed in 2019.
